I'm using Exchange's POP3 connector to retrieve emails from a MailEnable
email server on the internet. I cannot relay email through the Mailenable
server without authenticating.

Is there some configuration in the Exchange 2003 POP3 Connector that allows
me to pass authentication when sending emails?

On the Advanced Tab of your SMTP connector object is an Outbound security
button. Click that, and the next property page is where you can enter that
info..
Hi,
My internet provider is changing the way it manages SMTP connections. From
now on all, to be able to send email, users will have to authenticate the
SMTP connection.
My company has a SBS 2003 with Exchange. Users connect to Exchange with
outlook, and Exchange connects to the ISP through SMTP to relay the email
the
company users send.
I checked the SMTP connector tabs, but could find no place to set
authentication (as I would on Outlook for the STMP options).
Any idea where and/or how to go about setting the authentication?
Thanks,
Pablo
