bdat is a part of the CHUNKING service extension, and it is used instead of
the data command when sending messeges in chunks. Bdat-last means the end of
the bdat transmittion. looking at your trace, it dosent looks like an smtp
error. can you turn on diagnostics logging on the exchange server?
espacially on the msexchangerouting object..

Post by omer maydan1. check name resolution to hotmail.com
2. enable logging on the server object and select msexchangetransport ->
catagorizer and set it to maximum. observe for logs in the exchange
application log.
