Hi all, any suggestions for this are much appreciated, I have been
working on it for weeks with no joy.

We have recently employed an exchange 2003 server (SP2 with new domino
connector installed). We routed all the external mail to the new
server and everything was running fine for about four days. I noticed
the lack of external emails being received, I checked
the queues in exchange and noticed mails had stopped routing over the
domino connector.

I stopped and restarted the service and the mail routes fine.

In the event log there are numerous errors

Faulting application lsmexin.exe, version 6.5.7745.0, faulting module
kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x0002b2ad.

With a repeating one of,

Message is looping, returning non-delivery report to sender. Message
ID: c=GB;a= ;p=A4E Group;l=20051213162122NOTES00010254

These messages are present everytime the problem occurs (has happened 5
times so far)

It seems everything will be fine for days (1-4) then the problem will
reoccur. Microsoft refuse to answer the phone for less than £200,
seems a bit silly when theres a 1/4 mill in license fees at stake. The
IT Manager wont pay for support and we cant cope with such an
unreliable system so it looks at the moment like we may stick with
domino and find an alternative to MS CRM.

As said, I will be eternally grateful for any suggestions.

Have currently captured all NDRs and set logging levels on notes
connector to the maximum.

Hi Mikee,

Are you a Microsoft Certified Partner in your country of operation? If
you are, I strongly suggest you get in touch with your Partner Account
Manager from Microsoft immediately for assistance. They are the people
assigned to help you as a Certified Partner. As Certified Partners, you
also have several Professional Support calls in a year, given free of
charge. You could use these calls to get to top notch support
professionals in US and China. I have worked with them on numerous
occasion and they never, and I do mean never, fail.

Alternatively, you could talk to the reseller that sold you the
Microsoft Licenses. 250,000 Pound Sterling sounds like it qualifies for
Select Licensing, so I believe you would have purchased it from a
Microsoft Large Account Reseller, which are by default Certified
Partners. Try to talk to them to give you some of their free
Professional Support calls.

Hope this helps.
